Behind the lens

My values guide what I do. I try to live each moment with purpose and intention. Above all, I am a wife, a mom, and believer. 

I started by shooting weddings, but it quickly became obvious that weddings weren't my real passion; my real passion was working with children and families. After 7 yrs of doing photography as a side-hustle on top of my office job in tech, I finally quit in December 2023 to pursue photography full-time.

It's a privilege to do what I do -- to capture the most important moments in a family's life is an honor I take seriously.

I love when my clients become friends. When we go from taking pictures together to grabbing coffee, send each other DMs about how crazy our kids are, and just growing

Guidance

I'm a bit of a baby whisperer. To this day, there hasn't been a single newborn I couldn't put to sleep. Safety is my top priority, and I treat your family members as if they're my own.

Nurture

Active toddlers, grumpy husbands, spotty lighting -- bring it on. 8 yrs as a photographer and 6 yrs as a mom taught me to navigate through the most challenging of situations.

Experience

I take the time to get to know my clients, observe their chemistry, and read cues -- from adults and kids alike -- to direct your family in a way that's flattering but also authentically you.

Hana took family & newborn pictures for our family of four. The whole experience was wonderful- she was gentle, patient and took the time to make sure all of us were comfortable, especially the newborn. She is so good with kids. My 2 year old was hyper and newborn was fussy, but she worked efficiently and took beautiful pictures. She sent us final photos promptly and made sure I was satisfied with all of them. Hana is professional and kind, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer for any occasion. You will love her work!
